Wendy’s UK reported a profit and total comprehensive income for the financial year 2024 of £638.3k, a 25.3% dip in profits when compared to £854.34k the year before.
Turnover was £33.96m for FY2024, an uptick of 6.4% compared to £31.91m in 2023.
Cost of sales, however, jumped to £24.38m in FY2024 compared to £23.44m the year before. Gross profit for the year was £9.58m.
Wendy’s UK ended 2024 with 13 company-operated restaurants and 24 franchise restaurants. Employee count dipped from 436 in 2023 to 423 in 2024.
The company, which has set its sights on 150 sites across Europe by 2028 and 2000 internationally, recently opened new restaurants in locations such as Southampton, Blackpool, Wirral & York,
