Slim Chickens will open its first drive-thru in Great Britain on 6 October at Broughton Shopping Park in North Wales, with the launch offering free food and prizes to early customers.
The drive-thru will open at 12pm, with every guest arriving in a red car receiving free chicken tenders and one house dip on opening day.
The first 50 customers arriving on foot will also receive free chicken tenders.
The first 5,000 drive-thru customers will receive a limited-edition Slims Driver’s Licence, each containing a unique code linked to a reward.
Customers can enter their code through the Slim Chickens UK app to access their prize, with every licence unlocking a free item on their next visit.
Rewards include fresh tenders, classic sandwiches, hand-spun shakes, and Texas toast.
One of the 5,000 licences will unlock the top prize: one free Slim Chickens meal worth up to £14.95 every week for life.
Games, giveaways, and interactive activities will also take place throughout the opening day.
The Broughton site marks Slim Chickens’ move into the drive-thru format in Great Britain.
Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), the brand’s UK master franchise partner, plans to use the site as a blueprint for further drive-thru locations, with ambitions to expand the format across England.
The new restaurant will serve Slim Chickens’ full menu, including buttermilk-marinated chicken tenders, wings, sandwiches, wraps, and salads, alongside Hand-spun Shakes, Texas Toast, and 15 house sauces.
