Zizzi has announced a limited-time offer across all of its stores, giving Italians and people with Italian nationality the chance to eat free of charge.

The promotion is intended to celebrate Italian heritage and add a playful twist to the restaurant chain’s tournament-time marketing.

The deal, which gives Italians a free main course, started on Monday, June 8 and will be valid until Thursday, June 18.

It offers eligible customers the opportunity to enjoy a meal at no cost for a limited time, provided they meet the promotion’s terms.

To be eligible for the deal, customers must present a valid Italian passport and purchase a full-price drink.

“Forza Italia, Forza Zizzi” has been started to ‘make up’ for Italy’s absence from this year’s World Cup.

The slogan ties the campaign to national support while keeping the tone light-hearted and celebratory.

The chain also references the larger Italian community living in the UK and Ireland to position the promotion, broadening its appeal beyond passport holders and connecting it to the wider diaspora.

Customers who are not Italian can receive a 30% discount on food items – including starters, sharers, mains, and desserts – available until the end of the tournament’s group stage on June 26.

That means the offer still allows non-Italian diners to save during the same period, even if they do not qualify for the free meal promotion.
