Island Poké founder James Gould-Porter has left the company following the brand’s sale to rival Honi Poke Group Ltd in July last year.
In a LinkedIn post Gould Porter said: “What an incredible 10 years it’s been. From a small street food stand in West London to opening 40 locations across the UK and France – a journey we could only have dreamed of when we started.”
Island Poké is a London-based, fast-casual restaurant chain serving fresh Hawaiian-inspired poke bowls, rice bowls, and sides, founded in 2016.
Gould-Porter said: “Taking all of these learnings forward, I’m excited to share news of my next venture in the coming days.”
