Boss Pizza, one of the UK’s fastest-growing pizza chains, has announced a major expansion plan that will see the creation of 1,500 new jobs across the country over the next three years.

The ambitious growth strategy includes the opening of 100 new stores nationwide, each set to bring approximately 15 new roles per store to local communities.

From kitchen and customer service staff to store management and regional support positions, the job opportunities span all levels of the business.

So far in 2025 they’ve opened new stores in Walsall, Bradford and Colchester creating new jobs with every new location. In the pipeline for the rest of the year are stores in locations such as Oldham, Hemel Hempstead, Derby, York, Paisley, Wolverhampton and Glasgow East.

The expansion plan comes as Boss Pizza continues to enjoy expansion and brand loyalty, with customers embracing its signature high quality pizzas, and fast service model.

As demand rises, the company is scaling up in a way that delivers both flavour and financial impact to local communities.

Ajmal Mushtaq, CEO of Boss Pizza said: “We’re incredibly proud to be in a position where we can create real job opportunities for people across the UK. As we grow, we’re committed to growing responsibly, by investing in people and communities.”

With three young children, including one with special needs, home life is as full-on as his workday: “It’s a challenge, but I’ve built a trusted team that makes it all possible.”

Stephen makes the most of his free time with his family saying: “I love taking the caravan out with my partner and kids to explore the UK.

We’ve discovered some incredible coastlines and enjoy simple pleasures, like traditional fish and chips by the seaside, which always tastes better fresh and salty from the sea air.”

Despite the brand’s increasing national presence and a string of industry awards, Hopper remains grounded in his mission to make business ownership more accessible. He’s especially proud of the impact Plan Burrito has had on its franchisees.

He said: “When someone tells me that owning a franchise has changed their life, that they finally feel in control of their future, that’s the most rewarding part of all of this.”

Reflecting on his journey, Hopper offers one piece of advice for aspiring entrepreneurs: “You don’t need experience. What you need is belief, persistence, and a lot of elbow grease.”
