Beef King is set to open its new restaurant at 196 George Street in Aberdeen on Friday, 16 October 2026, at 4pm, with 100 free burgers on offer to celebrate the launch.
The opening marks the franchise’s latest expansion in north-east Scotland, following the success of its existing Stonehaven restaurant. The new branch will operate as a restaurant and takeaway, offering customers the option to dine in or order food to go.
The former Blue Spice premises on George Street has undergone an extensive refurbishment to prepare for the launch. The new location has already attracted interest from local customers since its announcement, with the Lord Provost of Aberdeen also expected to attend the grand opening.
Expansion follows Stonehaven success
Billy Sabir, franchisee of both Beef King Stonehaven and Beef King Aberdeen, said the positive response to the Stonehaven restaurant had encouraged the business to expand into Aberdeen.
“The support we’ve received in Stonehaven has been absolutely fantastic. Since opening, we’ve welcomed so many wonderful customers, and that response gave us the confidence to bring Beef King to Aberdeen,” he said.
Sabir added that the announcement of the new George Street restaurant had generated considerable excitement, with customers eager to find out when it would open.
“The reaction since we announced our George Street restaurant has been incredible, with people regularly asking when they can finally get their hands on our food. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready, and we’re really excited to finally welcome everyone through the doors,” he said.
Smash burgers and a varied menu
Beef King Aberdeen will offer a broad menu featuring its signature smash burgers, chicken burgers, loaded fries, generously filled wraps and rice boxes.
Customers will also be able to choose from a selection of sides, iced drinks and milkshakes. Vegetarian options and children’s meals will be available, catering to a range of tastes and dining preferences.
The restaurant will offer dine-in, takeaway and delivery options, giving customers several ways to enjoy its menu.
100 free burgers for opening day
To mark the launch, Beef King will repeat the free-burger promotion that proved popular at its Stonehaven opening, giving away 100 burgers to customers on launch day.
Sabir said: “We had a brilliant response to our burger giveaway in Stonehaven, so we’re bringing it back for Aberdeen. We’ll be giving away 100 burgers on opening day, and we can’t wait to meet everyone who’s been supporting us along the way.”
