Barbs has opened its first restaurant at the Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch, expanding beyond its Deliveroo Editions operation and the recent debut of its Bajan-style sauces.
The menu mixes Caribbean home-cooking influences with a fast-casual format.
Dishes are served with the brand’s own sauces, including a creamy “Fancy Sauce”, an herb-based mayo, and a hotter Bajan pepper mix made with cucumber, turmeric, and mustard.
Nicc Wright, Founder of Barbs said: “This is a proud step for us. Barbs is all about real food and real Bajan flavour, cooked the way it’s meant to be. We’ve taken our family recipes and traditional techniques and created something that feels completely at home in Shoreditch.”
Queen of Hoxton is Shoreditch’s legendary rooftop playground, a landmark venue where nightlife, art and creativity collide. Part of the Mothership Group, it stands as one of East London’s most iconic destinations for culture, community and unforgettable nights out.
Queen of Hoxton, known for its creativity, culture and community, provides the perfect home for Barbs’ first restaurant. Together, the partnership opens a new chapter for both brands, blending the vibrant energy of Shoreditch with the soul and authenticity of Barbados.
Andy Maddocks, Managing Director of Mothership Group said: “We’re excited to welcome Barbs into the Queen of Hoxton family. It’s a brand that brings real quality and originality to the table, and we can’t wait for people to experience it.”
