Auntie Anne’s is stepping up its Scottish expansion with a new store at Frasers Plus Braehead in Glasgow, creating 12 jobs and cementing its second site north of the border.
The launch joins Auntie Anne’s kiosk at The Centre, Livingston, and forms part of a push into high-footfall, family-focused retail and leisure destinations across the UK and Ireland.
Located next to Five Guys in the Braehead food court, the standalone outlet will bake Auntie Anne’s hand-rolled pretzels on-site throughout the day and serve its signature lemonade to shoppers looking for a warm, freshly baked snack.
The new store will offer Auntie Anne’s full range of sweet and savoury pretzels, alongside limited-time specials and top-selling flavours, to help build awareness with Glasgow visitors and local families.
Auntie Anne’s said the Braehead site will serve as its flagship Scottish store as it targets additional high-footfall retail and leisure locations, building on its growing UK estate and a pipeline of openings.
The pretzel chain is also seeking additional sites and franchise partners in Scottish cities, including Aberdeen, Dundee and Stirling, focusing on experienced food and beverage operators as part of its wider UK and Ireland growth plans.
At Frasers Plus Braehead, the Auntie Anne’s opening joins a refreshed food and drink line-up that includes Snowflake Gelato, Chopstix, Millie’s Cookies and the recently opened Bubbleology, supporting the centre’s strategy to strengthen its grab-and-go and treat-led offer for day-out shoppers and families.
