Grain, the UK’s first clean-label Mediterranean QSR, opens its flagship restaurant in Holborn on 4th of November 2025, creating 25 jobs and introducing a scalable new model for health-driven dining.
The launch marks the first step in a planned 10-site expansion across major UK cities in 2026 and a 50-store goal by the end of the decade.
Rooted in the longevity principles of the world’s Blue-Zone diets, Grain unites flavour, nutrition and transparency. Every dish is cooked exclusively in extra-virgin olive and cold-pressed avocado oils, no seed oils, ever. Sourdough pitas and bagels replace refined breads, while ingredients are sourced for quality, honesty and traceability.

Founded by a collective of chefs, hospitality and retail entrepreneurs with multi-site experience, Grain’s mission is to bring honesty back to fast food and to create a scalable, sustainable brand that meets growing demand for health-driven dining without compromise.
The Holborn site, originally conceptualised with designer Terry Moore (Hotel Chocolat), channels a modern Mediterranean aesthetic with natural textures, open-kitchen theatre and a sun-washed palette designed for high-footfall urban spaces.

The Holborn opening signals the start of Grain’s national growth strategy. The brand is in active discussions with landlords, developers and investors to secure prime sites in high streets, retail centres, transport hubs and university districts. A new central kitchen will support efficiency, consistency and scalability across the UK and Europe.
